Java Developer – Change Management
Key Requirements
- Experience in Change Management processes with hands-on use of ServiceNow for creating and managing production change records
- Ability to ensure compliance of production change records with enterprise standards including proper documentation and approvals
- Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes
- Experience with version control and CI/CD tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, and OpenShift (OCP)
- Exposure to programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, and Shell scripting (plus)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage timelines effectively
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration and updates
- Proactive mindset with focus on automation and continuous improvement
- Experience in Java development
- Expertise in Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, and Microservices
- Experience working with Redis, SQL, DB2, Elastic, Kafka, MongoDB, and Apache Camel
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Java applications
- Lead architecture discussions and provide technical guidance to junior team members
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of applications
- Work with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Kibana, and Grafana
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver new features
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and platform issues
