Minimum Requirements :
10 years' experience with a minimum of 4 years in mine mobile equipment maintenance, reliability engineering, or asset lifecycle assessment
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mining or Industrial Engineering. Technicians with relevant industry experience will also be considered
Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA)
Knowledge of reliability engineering tools and techniques, including root cause analysis and condition-based monitoring
Strong analytical skills with experience using CMMS (SAP) to extract and analyze work order data
Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across teams
Strong focus on safety, integrity, and continuous improvement

Responsibilities:
Develop and align equipment lifecycle and maintenance strategies to optimize asset performance, longevity, and regional synergies
Analyze asset performance data and failure trends to identify reliability issues, bad actors, and opportunities for improvement
Develop targeted mitigation plans and actionable recommendations to prevent recurrence and improve fleet reliability
Lead reliability, engineering improvement, safety, and compliance projects from initiation through completion
Ensure mobile equipment complies with regulatory, safety, and engineering standards, and maintain supporting documentation, procedures, and standards
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support asset reliability and project execution
Build strong cross-functional relationships and communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders at all levels
Location and other Key Details:
You will work out of our Base Plant Mine in Fort McMurray, Alberta
Hours of work are a regular 40-hour week, Monday to Friday
If you reside outside of Fort McMurray, relocation of your primary residence to within 60 km of Fort McMurray is mandatory
