Cam Clark Automotive Group is seeking a results-driven Regional Controller to lead and support three dealership locations across Alberta, based out of our Airdrie dealership location.

The Regional Controller reports directly to the Director of Accounting and is responsible for overseeing the dealership’s financial operations. Key duties include managing financial records, preparing accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supervising the accounting team within the region.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, and financial reporting.

Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly financial statements for three locations; Airdrie, Olds, and Red Deer.

Lead and support the accounting team, offering guidance, training, and career development feedback.

Implement and enhance processes to maximize efficiency within the accounting departments.

Prepare and present financial reports to the senior leadership team.

Ensure strict compliance with provincial and federal tax regulations.

Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits.

Provide department managers with financial insights to boost profitability and manage expenses effectively.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall financial operations.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CPA designation or actively working toward a professional accounting certification is an asset.

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a related position, with experience in the automotive industry preferred.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and dealership-specific accounting practices.

Proficiency in accounting software and the MS Office Suite.

Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail.

Strong leadership abilities and effective communication skills
