We are looking for an optical dispenser to join our team for a full time position from Tuesday through Saturday.

Previous experience is preferred, however not required for the right fit.
We are local, co-owning optometrists, with over 20 years combined experience in the industry. We are looking for someone to join our team as we move into our 3rd year of operation and who can help us continue to build our vision of a community-oriented, family friendly, inclusive, full scope independent optometry clinic. The ideal candidate would be considered energetic, caring, dedicated, professional, tech savvy, and have exceptional interpersonal and time management skills.
We are a smaller boutique-style clinic, so a willingness to be cross-trained in different areas around the office is a must. We are located at beautiful Mattick's Farm, serviced by BC Transit Route #32 and the Lochside Trail. Parking is free.
Our working hours are Tuesdays to Saturday (and closed all stat holidays):
- Tuesday 9-5
- Wednesday 10-6
- Thursday 10-6
- Friday 9-5
- Saturday 9-3
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lens selection/dispensing
- Optical repairs and adjustments
- Frame styling
- Administrative work
- Troubleshooting fitting and vision issues
- Placing lab orders and checking lab orders for accuracy
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour
