Little Kickers Hamilton & Grimsby is looking for a dynamic, hard-working and fun-loving coach for our part time role as Coaching Supervisor role. Our coaches must be imaginative and athletic, as we teach kids 18 months to 7 years old basic soccer skills through creative games while pretending to be silly pirates or animals or even Lightning McQueen!
Our Coaching Supervisor splits their time between coaching in classes, overseeing coaches at various locations across Hamilton to Grimsby, online and in person training, as well as remotely doing administration tasks. If you are passionate about working with children, being active and playing soccer, and leading a large team of coaches, then this is the ideal job for you!
Applicants must be able to begin training by the end of June and continue working year round. Hours may vary per week, starting hours will be 15hrs per week with potential to grow.
Must have own vehicle and be able to drive to different locations including Hamilton, Stoney Creek & Grimsby. Compensation: $20 per hour with room to grow.
Qualities to be successful:
- REALLY outgoing, confident personality with a strong presence.
- High energy individual with a good level of fitness and able to coach soccer skills/games with young children.
- Reliable with excellent time management and problem solving skills.
- Leadership skills to mentor new coaching team members.
- Have excellent verbal communication skills to engage both children during classes and parents in progress discussions.
- Administrative skills and computer literacy (Google Docs, Excel, etc.).
- Be extremely organized and able to manage your own time
- Customer service friendly, ability to manage difficult conversions
