REV Recovery Coach - Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse (RN) will support IV infusion and wellness services through REV Recovery Coach, a mobile wellness initiative delivering high-quality IV hydration and recovery experiences at events during Calgary Stampede.
This role is ideal for an experienced RN who is confident in IV insertion and infusion administration, enjoys working in dynamic environments, and is comfortable engaging with participants in a professional and welcoming manner. Nurses will play an important role in ensuring safe service delivery while contributing to a positive client experience.

Supported by Encura and delivered in collaboration with partner organizations, REV Recovery Coach brings a unique approach to accessible, event-based wellness experiences.
Responsibilities
IV Infusion Administration
- Perform IV insertions and administer IV infusions safely and professionally
- Monitor clients throughout their infusion experience
- Respond appropriately to participant questions and needs during treatments
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards.
Event Operations
- Prepare treatment stations, equipment, and supplies for daily operations
- Support the setup, operation, and organization of the recovery coach at event locations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment environment throughout events
- Clean and disinfect treatment areas and equipment between participants
Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with fellow nurses and operational team members during events
- Contribute to a safe, professional, and welcoming experience for participants
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of event activities
What You Bring
- Active registration and good standing as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Alberta
- 2-3 years of hands-on RN experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Experience with IV therapy, infusion services, and related clinical procedures
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, event-based environments
- Ability to remain calm, adaptable, and solutions-focused under pressure
- Commitment to professionalism, safety, confidentiality, and high standards of care
- Comfortable working flexible hours based on event schedules and operational needs.
Additional Information
- Competitive compensation up to $60 per hour depending on years of experience
- This fixed-term employment opportunity will primarily support operations during the Calgary Stampede period from July 3–12, 2026
- Shifts will be scheduled based on event bookings; flexibility is required
- Events will generally take place between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM
- Shift lengths will vary but will not exceed 8 hours per event
- Opportunities may be available to support future REV Recovery Coach events
