We're Building More Than Projects
We're building careers, leaders, and a company people are proud to be part of.
At Extek Construction, we believe great people build great companies. Our goal isn't simply to hire employees—we're looking for people who want to build a career, contribute to something meaningful, and take pride in the company they represent.
Our work includes commercial tenant improvements, residential renovations, excavation, septic systems, underground utilities, drainage, retaining walls, concrete, demolition, and general civil construction.
No two days are the same. One week you may be assisting with a commercial renovation, the next installing underground services, building a retaining wall, pouring concrete, or working on a septic system. If you enjoy learning new skills, solving problems, and taking on new challenges, you'll fit in well here.
A Modern Approach to Construction
At Extek Construction, we believe great people use great tools. As our company continues to grow, we embrace new technology—including AI, digital project management, and modern construction practices—to improve communication, organization, problem-solving, efficiency, and the overall experience for both our team and our clients.
You don't need to be an expert with these tools when you join us. What matters is your willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously improve. We believe the best teams are built by people who are curious, open to new ideas, and always looking for better ways to get the job done.
We value craftsmanship just as much as innovation. By combining skilled people with modern technology, we're building a company that's committed to quality, efficiency, and long-term success.
We're looking for someone who is motivated, dependable, and takes pride in doing the job right. This is a position for someone who naturally thinks ahead, anticipates what needs to happen next, and understands that keeping the entire crew productive is just as important as completing their own task.

We're not looking to fill a short-term position—we're building a long-term team. We invest in people who work hard, take initiative, continue learning, and contribute to the success of the company. If you're committed to growing with us, we'll provide opportunities to build a rewarding career.
Our Culture
At Extek Construction, we believe quality work starts with quality people.
We hire for attitude before experience. Skills can be taught. Work ethic, initiative, accountability, integrity, and a willingness to learn are much harder to teach. If you're the type of person who notices what needs to be done and gets it done without being asked, you'll fit in well here.
We're looking for people who take initiative, solve problems, and think about the next step before someone has to ask. The people who succeed at Extek don't stand around waiting for instructions—they look for ways to help, keep projects moving, and contribute to the success of the entire team.
We believe respect is both earned and given. Every member of our team is expected to treat coworkers, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and the public professionally. In return, you'll work in an environment where your ideas are heard, your effort is recognized, and your contributions matter.
At Extek, we recognize that life exists outside of work. We genuinely care about the people on our team—not just the work they do, but their personal growth, their families, and their well-being. We believe that when people feel supported and respected, they do their best work.
We work hard, hold each other accountable, and maintain high standards, but we also celebrate successes, support one another through challenges, and treat everyone with honesty and respect.
Trust and responsibility are earned through consistency, reliability, and the quality of your work. As you demonstrate those qualities, you'll be given opportunities to learn, take on greater responsibility, increase your earning potential, and build a long-term career with Extek Construction.
Who Will Succeed in This Role

- Understands that helping the team succeed is just as important as completing their own task.
- Enjoys learning new skills and taking on new challenges.
- Wants a long-term career, not just a paycheque.
- Shows up every day ready to work with a positive attitude.
