About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for monitoring remote alarms and security systems, managing access requests, responding to service calls, and conducting patrols within high-profile facilities. You will assess and respond to incidents, maintain accurate operational records, provide escorts to sensitive areas, and ensure all procedures are followed with precision and professionalism. This role requires strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple communication channels while supporting critical operations.

What You Bring
Valid Alberta Security License
Valid First Aid & CPR Certification
Strong judgment, situational awareness, and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively in English, demonstrated through a standard assessment
Comfortable using security technology, including video management and reporting systems
Ability to work independently while supporting team operations
Strong documentation and report-writing skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to walk, patrol, and climb stairs for extended periods
Ability to sit for extended periods while monitoring alarms and communication systems
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
Ability to maintain focus while managing multiple communication channels
Ability to respond quickly to alarms, radios, phone calls, and emergency situations
Working Conditions
Shifts ranging from 9–12 hours during days and 12-hour overnight shifts
Combination of Security Operations Centre monitoring and facility patrols
Fast-paced, structured environment requiring accuracy and professionalism
Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required
