Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cable Puller to join our team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting cabling systems in various environments such as high-rise condo, data centers, commercial buildings, and telecommunication facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of reading drawing ,electrical systems, with the ability to interpret schematics and work with hand tools effectively. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with technical expertise to contribute to complex infrastructure projects and expand their professional skills.
Duties
- Install and pull cables including Ethernet, fiber optics, CCTV, Access Control ,Intercom, Network in accordance with project specifications.
- Read and interpret blue print, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to ensure proper installation and troubleshooting.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to run cables through ceilings, walls, conduits, and cable trays.
- Connect hardware components such as camera, card reader, door contact and other networking equipment.
- Assist in configuring network devices and testing connectivity to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain detailed documentation of cabling layouts, test results, and work performed for project records.
- Follow safety protocols during installation activities to prevent accidents or damage.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with low voltage wiring in high-riser or large foot print building.
- Familiarity with CCTV, Access Control and Intercom and telecommunication infrastructure installation .
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, drills, and cable pullers.
- Electrical experience is a plus for understanding power requirements and safety
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot network or hardware issues efficiently.
- Excellent physical condition with the ability to lift heavy cables and work in confined spaces or at heights when necessary. This position is ideal for technically skilled individuals eager to work on challenging projects within the telecommunications industry while developing their expertise in network infrastructure installation and maintenance.
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
