Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of a major Industrial Fire Protection construction project in North Vancouver. This onsite role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating schedules, documentation, reporting, procurement support, and communication across project teams.
About the Role
The Project Coordinator works closely with the Project Manager, site leadership, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to help keep project activities organized, on schedule, and well documented. The successful candidate will contribute to project controls, reporting, document management, meeting coordination, and day-to-day operational support.
Responsibilities
- Plans and coordinates project activities for timely completions as directed by the Project Manager.
- Coordinate and organizes project/site support and auxiliary services.
- Monitor project team adherence to corporate procedure frameworks and all documentation is maintained in the project filling system.
- Assists in project deployment and development activities, especially mobilization and demobilization of resources.
- Assesses potential issues and technical challenges and accordingly develops resolutions.
- Works closely with Scheduler to track daily production and percent completes.
- Provides analytical support to supervisors in executing assigned projects tasks.
- Assists the Project Manager in maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures.
- Works with Project Manager in change order management, project tracking and document control activities.
- Tracks project progress and ensures all project activities are completed on-time.
- Works with project team to prepare RFQ and RFP’s, develops basic cost comparisons and makes periodic site procurements.
- Supports the project with tools and consumables management.
- Interacts with various teams, suppliers or contractors to coordinate project activities.
- Analyzes and assists in resolution of project issues.
- Processes invoices in timely manner with costs and Billings.
- Take off quantities as directed, bill of materials, procurement of goods, etc.
- Compiles progress reports as directed by the Project Manager including but not limited to: overall percent completes and manpower histograms; commodity curves (planned/actual/forecast); safety statistics, change management.
- Satisfies specific communication needs of stakeholders, develops project reports for management and clients.
Qualifications
- Strong MS Office skills and scheduling software.
- Industrial construction experience.
- InEight Experience Preferred
- Primavera P6 Scheduling Experience Preferred
- Power BI experience preferred
- Excellent communication with the ability to interpret needs and express ideas clearly.
- Superior customer service skills with the ability to deliver results according to client specifications
- Efficient organizational skills
- Ability to thrive well in a deadline oriented environment.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Exposure to estimation programs would be considered an asset.
Compensation:
- $40.00/hour

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts
- 8 hours straight time and 2 hours overtime per day
Anticipated Start Date July 20, 2026
