EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3 years experience of operating directional drilling equipment and Locators
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Will execute work assigned. Will perform work including directional drilling, installation of conduits for various cables. Will perform all other duties as required by manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to operate Directional Drills - Ditch Witch JT920 JT3020 or similar
- Must be able to operate Mini Excavator and use power tools - Power Drills, Concrete Saws)
- May need to use technical and diagnostic tools (cable locator, signal meter, TDR)
- Must be responsible to maintain a fit condition to bend, kneel and climb during the installation process
- Must be able to safely lift loads of 65 lbs
- Must be well organized and be able to work well individually and as part of a team
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Must possess a valid Ontario (A-Z ) driver’s license and satisfactory driving record as determined by the Company;
- Must understand and practice defensive driving methods and Will be accountable to work safely abiding by the rules of the Company, IHSA and Labor Canada standards
- Must wear all necessary Personal Protective Equipment provided as job function dictates
- Must attend and participate in all required safety training programs,
- Mast be able to work in all weather conditions, day, night, or weekends.
