We are seeking a dynamic, fun, unique, talented and personable Bartender Extraordinaire to join our rock-star, rag-tag, dream team. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about advanced level cocktail curation & execution, as well as menu design, preparation & the best hospitality in the biz baby! It goes without saying the successful candidate will have a knack for creating memorable guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in beverage service and cocktail programs, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with POS systems, restaurant operations, and high volume bartending is considered essential. This position offers an engaging work environment where you can showcase your hospitality talents and contribute to one of the most unique and coveted bar experiences in the city.
Duties
- Prepare and serve complex cocktails and related beverages accurately, efficiently and consistently
- Engage with guests and co-workers in a friendly, professional and occasionally unhinged manner to enhance their experience
- Utilize Squirrel POS System for order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in accordance with industry standards
- Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels & smiles to ensure smooth operations
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, health regulations, and responsible alcohol service policies
- Assist beverage director in menu preparation, development & design
- Assist in serving food when necessary, supporting overall restaurant operations and vibes
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality roles, especially as a bartender, server, or supervisor is considered essential
- Experience in high volume, technical bartending prefferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Squirrel or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of flavour profiles, unique spirits, and sophisticated bartending techniques
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy & lengthy shifts efficiently with a can-do attitude
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally, make jokes and curate regular guest visits
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and HAVING FUN!
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor, weird is welcome!
- Prior experience in a bar or restaurant setting is kind of essential
