What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a driven and competitive sales Director with a strong record of identifying and converting customer opportunities into sales, and the demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategies to generate leads. The ideal candidate will be passionate about contributing to the growth of our international business. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established company and have a direct impact on our strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Growth
· Generate qualified leads and close sales opportunities.
· Develop effective digital marketing strategies.
· Manage sales cycles and strategic client engagements.
· Apply the established sales process consistently and refine it when appropriate.
Partnership Development and Management
· Identify new business opportunities, build relationships, and strengthen connections with partners and clients.
· Represent Mercan Group at conferences and trade shows and deliver presentations.
Client Relationship Management
· Assess client needs and provide tailored immigration solutions.
· Maintain accurate and timely account and opportunity data in the CRM system.
· Work with the digital, marketing, and sales teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
· Manage and collaborate with stakeholders across Mercan Group businesses and functions.
What We Expect from You
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
· Experience: 3+ years in sales, with proven experience in prospecting, negotiation, and managing the full sales cycle from lead identification to contract signing.
· Bilingual proficiency: Fluency in French and English is required to communicate with internal and external stakeholders across Canada and globally. Additional languages are an asset.
· Sales skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Presentation skills: Confidence delivering sales presentations.
· Entrepreneurial mindset: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and grow sales.
· Work ethic: Ambitious, driven, and results oriented.
· Multicultural sensitivity: Comfortable working in a diverse environment with international teams.
· Technical skills: Proficient with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and other business software.
· Travel: Occasional business travel required.
