Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, measuring, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area throughout shifts
- Serve dishes promptly and courteously to ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Follow food safety protocols at all times, including proper storage and temperature controls
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy hours
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and food presentation
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills within a busy kitchen environment
- Familiarity with the food industry trends and customer service expectations
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail in food service and meal preparation tasks
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
