Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Millwright Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and operating complex machinery and systems to ensure optimal production efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and industrial maintenance knowledge, with experience in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and low voltage systems. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, ensuring smooth production processes
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on machinery including boilers, HVAC systems, and other industrial equipment
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and control system diagrams
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for work orders and maintenance tracking
- Conduct welding, electrical work, and mechanical repairs as needed
- Diagnose issues using analysis skills to determine root causes and implement effective solutions
- Maintain compliance with safety standards related to low voltage systems and industrial electrical work
- Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and operational efficiency
- Document all maintenance activities accurately in the system
Experience
- Proven experience in industrial electrician work, mechanical maintenance, or manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics interpretation
- Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance management
- Experience with HVAC systems, boilers, welding, electrical systems (including low voltage), and general industrial maintenance
- Strong analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork
- Customer service orientation to support internal clients and ensure operational reliability
