Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant (with IMG preferred) to join our healthcare team in a full-time, permanent capacity. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment, providing comprehensive patient care across various specialties. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, experience with electronic medical records, and a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services. Prior hospital experience, familiarity with research, and expertise in acute care and pain management are highly desirable. Candidates should be comfortable working with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics, and have a solid understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations
- Assist physicians in diagnosing and developing treatment plans for patients
- Manage medication administration and monitor patient responses
- Document patient interactions accurately using electronic medical records systems such as Epic and Cerner
- Provide patient education on health conditions, medication use, and home care instructions
- Participate in research activities and quality improvement projects as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Assist with home care visits and follow-up appointments to ensure continuity of care
Experience
- Prior walk-in clinic experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with inpatient and outpatient settings
- Experience with electronic medical records systems such as Juno/Oscar is highly desirable
- Proven ability to handle acute care situations effectively
- Experience in medical office settings, including medical terminology proficiency, is beneficial
