We work on a variety of vehicles and equipment, from Harley Davidson motorcycles to heavy construction loaders. We take pride in honest work, practical problem solving and maintaining a reliable, hardworking shop environment.
Position Overview
We are currently looking for a dependable and mechanically inclined individual to join our team and work alongside our head mechanic. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working on vehicles, small engines, dirt bikes, or equipment and is looking to continue building their skills in a shop environment.
No Red Seal certification is required. We are looking for someone with practical experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently when needed.
Qualifications
- Must have experience working on small engines, dirt bikes, ATVs, vehicles, or similar equipment
- Mechanically inclined with good troubleshooting skills
- Able to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment
- Must provide some personal tools (shop tools are also available as needed)
- Must be located in or around Winnipeg and have reliable transportation to and from the shop
- Valid driver’s license
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with vehicle, equipment and small engine repairs
- Perform general shop maintenance and organization
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Assist with repairs, part replacements, and servicing
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
- Support daily shop operations as required
Compensation
$20/hour, depending on experience and skill level
Schedule
Monday to Friday
Approximately 30-40 hours per week
