We’re Hiring: On-Site Event Chef
$30/hour + tips | Paid travel | Part-Time & Seasonal | Vancouver Island
Open Water Catering is looking for experienced, reliable, and passionate on-site chefs to join our event team! From intimate weddings to large private events, you’ll bring our menus to life on location, working with a dynamic and supportive crew.
What You’ll Do:
- Execute high-quality food service on-site at weddings, parties, and corporate events
- Set up, cook, plate, and clean down stations in a variety of environments
- Collaborate with fellow chefs and front-of-house staff to deliver an exceptional guest experience
- Communicate with event managers and adapt to event flow as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Professional kitchen experience (line cook or catering experience preferred)
- Comfortable working independently and with a team in fast-paced settings
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation an asset
- Food Safe certification
