What You'll Do
As a Truss Delivery Driver Crane Operator, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of roof trusses, floor trusses, wall panels, engineered wood products, and building materials to residential and commercial job sites.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Safely operate a boom truck equipped with a knuckle boom crane.
- Deliver roof trusses, floor trusses, wall panels, lumber, and other building materials.
- Load, inspect, and secure deliveries before leaving the yard.
- Complete daily commercial vehicle and crane inspections.
- Operate the crane safely while following all manufacturer and company procedures.
- Communicate with dispatch and yard staff throughout the day.
- Obtain customer delivery confirmations when required.
- Take delivery photos using the company mobile app.
- Ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
- Assist customers and contractors with professional, courteous service.
- Help build loads and assist with general yard operations when deliveries are complete.
- Keep the truck and equipment clean and report maintenance concerns promptly.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- Valid AZ Licence
- Clean Driver's Abstract
- Strong commitment to safety
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift heavy building materials
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- Knuckle Boom Crane Certification
- Previous boom truck or crane operating experience
- Forklift experience
- Experience delivering trusses or building materials
- Knowledge of residential construction sites
Previous crane experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime as required
- Occasional Saturdays during peak season
Licence/Certification:
- AZ Licence (required)
- Knuckle Boom Crane Certification (preferred)
Work Location: In person – Lakefield, Ontario
Pay: $24.00-$34.00 per hour
