Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Installer with knowledge of vehicle electronics and immobilizer systems. You will install advanced vehicle security products while maintaining the highest standards of safety, workmanship, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Install automotive immobilizers and anti-theft systems.
- Read and interpret vehicle wiring diagrams.
- Perform wiring, soldering, crimping, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Test all installed equipment before vehicle delivery.
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional installations.
- Complete installation reports and required documentation.
- Communicate with the Pandora's Box operations team regarding completed jobs.
- Represent Pandora's Box professionally when interacting with customers.
Requirements
- Experience with automotive electrical systems.
- Knowledge of vehicle immobilizers and vehicle electronics.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and electrical schematics.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Valid Ontario G driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Mandatory Training
Successful applicants must complete:
- 2-day online Pandora's Box Installer Training Program
- Product installation procedures
- Company standards and quality control
- Customer service expectations
- Safety procedures
- Documentation and job workflow
Training must be successfully completed before field installations begin.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience installing:
- Immobilizers
- Remote starters
- GPS tracking systems
- Vehicle security systems
- Dash cameras
- Automotive accessories
- MECP certification (asset)
- 12V electronics experience
