Summary: We are a growing company in an interesting and challenging segment of the insurance industry. We are always looking for talented individuals to join our Personal Insurance Underwriting team; to perform a full range of policy underwriting functions related to Personal Insurance, such as Broker/Producer/Company Carrier Underwriter liaison and administrative account servicing.
Job Duties:

Review and evaluate new and renewal applications to determine insurance risks, insurance premiums, and extent of insurance coverage

Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained in compliance with company practices and regulatory requirements

Handle renewals, endorsements, payments, and cancellations

Provide underwriting advice and answer inquiries from brokers and other company personnel

Prepare underwriting reports and update insurance forms when necessary.

Maintain positive relationships with brokers and market underwriters; answer underwriting questions; provide guidance on what is acceptable risk

Perform other duties as assigned

Probation Period: 3 Months
Experience: High School Diploma/GED required, with some college or 1-3 yrs related experience
