Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our busy restaurant team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, supporting food preparation, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and safety.
- Assist with basic meal preparation and food handling as directed by kitchen staff.
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Help with food prep tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients when needed.
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures at all times.
- Assist in setting up dining areas and clearing tables during service hours.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of basic cooking, food preparation, and food safety practices is advantageous.
- Ability to handle food safely and follow hygiene standards diligently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends or evenings if necessary.
