Thompson Ditching has been operating for over 40 years, and is located in Lacombe, Alberta. Our operations include aggregate hauling, water and sewer installations/connections for both commercial and residential projects in Central Alberta. We are currently seeking a labourer to join our team. This position will be a Full Time Permanent, to the right person. We offer a competitive wage and a benefits package (after 6 months of employment).
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Must be physically fit - heavy lifting and long hours required
- Participate actively with the health and safety program
- Maintain cleanliness of jobsites and company vehicles
- Basic understanding of pipe laying
- Complete paperwork, such as timecards, pre/post-trip inspection reports etc.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- Ability to multitask and take instruction
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Team player
- Positive “Can Do” attitude
Required Experience:
- Class 5 Driver's License
- Clean 3 year driver's abstract
- Basic operation of heavy-duty equipment (on the job training available)
- Safety tickets an asset
