Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Youth Soccer Coach to support our head coaches in delivering high-quality training sessions and game-day support. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to grow in coaching while working in a positive and development-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Coach in planning and running training sessions
- Support players during practices and games
- Help set up and organize equipment and drills
- Provide encouragement and guidance to players
- Promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment
- Communicate with coaching staff and follow club guidelines
Qualifications:
- Soccer playing experience (coaching experience is an asset)
- Interest in developing coaching skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Positive attitude and energy when working with youth
- Reliable and punctual
Certifications
- Entry-level coaching certifications (Canada Soccer)
- Vulnerable Sector Check
Schedule:
- Evening practices (2–3 times per week)
- Weekend games
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
