Technical Inside Sales Representative
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Technical Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves engaging with potential and existing clients to promote and represent our products and services, primarily through phone and online communication channels (ex/email and virtual meetings). The ideal candidate MUST possess a technical background in the electrical distribution field and demonstrate excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of sales processes, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships. Fluency in English is required to effectively serve diverse client needs. Responsibilities :
- Manage inbound inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms, providing exceptional customer service
- Bring forward a technical background to provide value to our customers
- Present product offerings and solutions tailored to client needs, utilizing negotiation skills to close sales with the help of the sales team
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads using CRM tools such as Salesforce
- Collaborate with the management team to execute targeted campaigns and promote new products or services to our customers
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales activities, and account information through our CRM
- Assist in developing strategies for business growth and expanding the company's market presence
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and product updates to effectively communicate value propositions
Skills:
- Proven technical experience in an inside sales role directly related to the electrical industry (Minimum 3yrs experience).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills in English
- Familiarity with electrical industry required
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms
- Ability to understand complex technical products and convey their benefits clearly
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor
- Demonstrated ability to develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively; all while working in a remote setting
- Electrical Engineering background or EIT would be preferred
