Position Details
- Position: Pipeline Security Guard
- Employment Type: Contractor
- Location: Edson, Alberta (Pipeline Project)
- Schedule: 14 Days On / 14 Days Off
- Shifts: Night Shifts (Every Night Monday to Sunday)/ Day Shifts (Sundays Only)
- Coverage: Monday through Sunday
- Start Date: Upcoming project (August 10)
- Positions Available: 15

Job Responsibilities
- Patrol and monitor assigned sections of the pipeline project.
- Prevent unauthorized access to the worksite.
- Conduct vehicle and personnel access control as required.
- Observe, identify, and report suspicious activity.
- Complete detailed electronic daily activity and incident reports.
- Maintain communication with Dispatch throughout the shift.
- Respond to emergencies and follow established procedures.
- Ensure all client and company policies are followed.
Requirements
- Valid Alberta Security Services Licence.
- First Aid/CPR certification is required.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and customer service skills.
- Smartphone capable of using company reporting software.
- Previous pipeline, industrial, construction, or remote site security experience is considered an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on pipeline or oil & gas projects.
- Experience operating company vehicles safely.
- Ability to remain alert and attentive during overnight shifts.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to completing the full 14-day rotation.
