Supervisory Duties
- Supervise, & coordinate schedule for 5 - 10 shift members
- Train team on all job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
- Ensure team understands and adheres to all company policies and procedures
- Investigate accidents, complete accident reports, and ensure preventive actions are implemented
- Resolve work issues and recommend measures to improve productivity
- Work with the management team to develop a work environment that promotes good working relationships and ongoing communication
- Inspect and verify outgoing orders against invoices.
- Ensure a clean, neat, and orderly work area is maintained.
Additional duties
- Accurately gathering products to fulfill orders for internal and/or external customers.
- Load orders onto company delivery trucks
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately within the required timeframe
- Cleaning and tidying as required to maintain a safe work environment
- Loading and unloading of inventory, stock, and supplies as required
- Putting away incoming inventory into specified areas
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Perform other tasks as required by management to meet business needs.
Skills and Knowledge
- Ability to work safely with warehouse equipment, minimizing risk to people, machinery, and products
- People management skills, including the ability to explain ideas, delegate work, motivate, lead and inspire members of the team
- Time management and organizational skills
- Decisiveness, initiative, attention to detail, and high accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritize tasks to maintain production quotas
- Ability to use computers and scanning technology
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Supervisory experience needed
- Produce/Grocery and Warehouse experience preferred
- Valid G-Class Driver's license necessary.
Working Requirements
- Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work in a fast-pace environment
- Able to bend, squat and lift above waist and shoulders
- Ability to lift up to approximately 23kg/50lbs.
- Able to work in a cold environment
- Able to work from 4pm to 12am with flexibility to transition to 9pm t0 5am shift
- Willing to obtain a police background check upon employment
Wage: Dependent on experience and qualifications.
