Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are properly sanitized and available for food preparation and service. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting a smooth-running hospitality operation. Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service settings is a plus but not required. Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and dry dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and storage areas
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
- Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to in handling food and cleaning supplies
- Organize clean dishes for storage or immediate use in the kitchen or dining areas
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean utensils and equipment during busy service periods
- Follow proper procedures for waste disposal and recycling
Skills
- Experience in cleaning and sanitation procedures within a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations including food preparation and cooking support is advantageous
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role
Pay: $17.60-$17.70 per hour
