Duties
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move goods and materials efficiently.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of products and supplies as needed.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of shipments, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize warehouse storage areas.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries or pickups, addressing client needs professionally.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily operations.
- Drive commercial vehicles for transportation of goods between locations, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Support warehouse organization by moving items within the facility to optimize space utilization.
Requirements
- Proven warehouse experience with knowledge of inventory management and safety procedures.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for driving duties.
- Experience operating forklifts or similar industrial equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks regularly.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
- Experience in customer service roles is a plus, demonstrating professionalism in client interactions.
- Capable of moving large or bulky items safely and efficiently.
