Minimax Express is a regional LTL trucking company, operating out of 5 terminals in Ontario and Quebec. We have operated for over 35 years as a family run business.
We are seeking a dynamic results-driven Account Executive to join our sales team, London terminal. This role involves developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a background in B2B sales, and experience with technology. As an integral part of our organization, the Account Executive will leverage marketing insights, negotiation skills, and customer service expertise to meet and exceed sales targets while fostering long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, telemarketing, and networking efforts
- Manage a portfolio of clients, providing solutions that meet their needs
- Negotiate contracts and close deals efficiently while maintaining positive customer relationships
- Utilize CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and client interactions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and technological advancements
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services
Experience
- Proven experience in B2B sales
- Minimum 2 years experience selling in the transportation industry, preferably in LTL
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals effectively
- Familiarity with a CRM platform
- Experience in , telemarketing and cold calling is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills in English;
- Ability to develop business strategies and foster long-term client relationships
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Prior experience in customer service is beneficial
- Working knowledge of Microsoft products: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated
- G Class driver license with clean abstract

This position includes a company vehicle after completing 3 months probation. In addition to the base pay, there is a commission component. A company cell phone and laptop will be assigned. Other benefits include: Company Pension, Telemedicine.
