Job Description
- Meet with clients to understand design needs, preferences, and project requirements
- Develop interior design concepts, layouts, and presentations
- Prepare drawings and design packages (e.g., floor plans, 3D renderings, material selections)
- Present design proposals to clients in a clear and professional manner
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal team members during project execution
- Assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and site progress
- Ensure designs comply with local building codes and project specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience preferred
- Solid understanding of residential interior renovation; basic knowledge of commercial projects is an asset
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently interact with clients
- Fluent in both English and Chinese (spoken and written)
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
