WAREHOUSE LEAD
PMC Logistics is a full-service company specializing in ambient, refrigerated, and frozen warehouse storage and distribution services, located in Delta, BC. We currently have an immediate opening for a full-time position for Warehouse Lead.
Position Summary
The Warehouse Lead plays a key support role in daily warehouse operations, working closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe execution of all activities. This hands-on leadership position assists in coordinating workflow, guiding team members, and maintaining operational standards across shipping, receiving, and inventory handling.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable leading by example in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Duties as described, included but not limited to the following:
- Support the Warehouse Supervisor in coordinating and executing daily warehouse operations
- Provide on-the-floor leadership by assigning tasks, monitoring workflow, and ensuring productivity targets are met
- Assist with unloading and loading containers, trailers, and trucks safely and efficiently
- Help ensure all inbound shipments are received, verified, and stored accurately
- Help ensure all outbound shipments are picked, packed, and loaded accurately and on time
- Act as a point of contact for team members during shifts and escalate issues to the Supervisor as needed
- Communicate effectively with shipping/receiving coordinators to support smooth operations
- Promote and enforce company health and safety standards, including CFIA and HACCP requirements
- Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment
- Assist with training new employees on standard operating procedures and safe equipment use
- Support basic troubleshooting of operational issues and help implement solutions
- Perform regular warehouse duties as required, including picking, packing, and forklift operation
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or management
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience
- Previous experience in a lead hand or informal leadership role is an asset (formal supervision not required)
- Forklift certification or equivalent experience required
- Experience operating sit-down counterbalance, slip sheet, clamp, and/or stand-up forklifts is an asset; willingness to learn is essential
- Comfortable working in cold storage environments (PPE provided)
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

Schedule: 8 hour shift beginning either at 7 am, 9 am or 10 am (set time can be discussed upon hiring). Must be okay with working some overtime, on occasion, and one 4 hour (OT) Sunday shift, on occasion, approx 1 time per month.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
