Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Refreshment Stand Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operation of the refreshment stand during events or daily operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, cash handling, and food safety practices, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Duties
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for processing transactions accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages to customers, maintaining high standards of food handling and safety
- Prepare simple food items and beverages as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Manage cash register operations, including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and ensuring a positive experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stand area, including food preparation surfaces and equipment
- Restock supplies as necessary to ensure the stand is well-equipped throughout operating hours
- Follow all food safety protocols and health regulations to ensure safe food handling practices
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food industry roles such as barista, server, or cashier is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience in food preparation or serving roles is advantageous
