As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Lines Broker to join our team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Personal Lines Insurance Broker – Account Manager with proven experience handling personal insurance accounts. The ideal candidate will be RIBO licensed and possess a passion for excellent customer service. You’ll work closely with underwriters, portals and clients to manage new business, renewals, endorsements, claims assistance, and day-to-day servicing needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and service a portfolio of personal lines accounts
- Prepare applications, quotes, proposals, and binders for new and renewal business
- Assist building the book of business through new sales
- Process policy changes, certificates of insurance, and endorsements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files in the broker management system – Applied Epic
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly and professionally to client inquiries
- Collaborate with producers and other team members to support business development and client retention
- Stay informed on market trends, insurer guidelines, and industry best practices
Qualifications:
- RIBO licence (Required)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Personal lines Broker/Account Manager role
- Solid working knowledge of various insurance company portals and underwriting rules
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and broker management systems, knowledge of Applied Epic and Applied Rating Service is an asset
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
