Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Fence Yard Worker to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with the installation, repair, and maintenance of fencing projects, supporting various construction activities, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, familiarity with construction tools and techniques, and the ability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
Duties
- Assist in the measurement, layout, and installation of fences according to project specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to interpret project requirements.
- Prepare materials such as concrete forms and set posts using proper techniques.
- Perform concrete finishing, masonry work, and carpentry tasks related to fence installation.
- Assist with site preparation including excavation, grading, and clearing debris.
- Support other construction activities such as caulking, painting, or restoration work as needed.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Experience or familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is a plus.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, concrete forming, masonry, carpentry, welding, plumbing, electrical work, flooring installation, tile laying, or related skills is desirable.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is beneficial.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent teamwork skills and attention to safety protocols.

Pay: From $21.77 per hour
