Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating commercial trucks over long distances to deliver freight safely and efficiently. Duties
- Safely operate long-haul trucks across various routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Transport freight efficiently from origin to destination, ensuring timely deliveries
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle reliability
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit
- Follow safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and freight handling
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly long-haul routes
- Familiarity with forklift operation and freight handling procedures
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and basic automotive repair skills is preferred
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience with freight logistics, route planning, and safety regulations is advantageous
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments

Pay: $44,122.06-$65,000.00 per year
