Arletta Environmental Consulting Corp. is seeking an experienced AP/AR Specialist to join our Calgary team. Reporting directly to senior management the successful candidate must be able to manage multiple competing priorities in a high energy environment, be extremely organized, and self-motivated, with strong time management skills. This is a full-time role based in Calgary, AB.

What You'll Do:
As our Accounting Administrator, you will be responsible for performing and optimizing accounting tasks. Your key responsibilities will include:
· Running weekly work in progress reports for billing review for two legal entities.
· Ensuring all billable transactions are entered and are accounted for.
· Drafting, compiling, finalizing client invoices and submitting to client portals (mainly OpenInvoice & Cortex) following client specific invoicing & provincial guidelines.
· Preparing all required reporting & documentation for invoices pertaining to Government funding programs.
· Processing & applying client and government payments and credits to projects & invoices.
· Cost tracking all receivable invoices and payments.
· Processing all payables (overhead, billable expenses and invoices)
· Preparing & executing EFT payments.
· Preparing monthly inter-company invoices.
· Processing & tracking all 3rd Party Contractor invoices according to project specific guidelines.
Qualifications:
We are seeking an experienced AP/AR Specialist with post-secondary training in business & accounting disciplines. You should have:
· 5+ years of experience working in a similar role, with preference given to oil & gas/consulting industries that manage numerous ongoing projects.
· Experience using Quickbooks Online
· Fluent in Microsoft Office365 with advanced level experience in Microsoft Excel.
· Natural critical thinking skills with a very keen attention to detail & accuracy.
· Proven ability to problem solve and multi-task;
· An ability to manage many competing priorities and pivot quickly & effectively.
· An ability to develop and streamline processes.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills as working with several team members on a daily basis is required to be successful in this role.
