Light Duty Cleaners required for night shift hours at the Halifax Stanfield Int. Airport
Day Shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Successful candidates will receive a rotating schedule:
Week #1 - Monday & Tuesday on, Wednesday & Thursday off, Friday, Saturday & Sunday on
Week #2 - Monday & Tuesday off, Wednesday & Thursday on, Friday, Saturday & Sunday off
This position is unionized (post probation) and provides the successful applicant with 5 paid personal days / year, scheduled rate increases, as well as cost covered medical, dental and vision benefits. The successful candidate will require a security clearance application (5 year back ground check) be processed within 2 weeks of hire. In order to process this as a Canadian citizen you will require a Canadian criminal record check, an original copy of your birth certificate, and a photo ID with your current address on it, as well as to complete an online security training course and file the application. If you are an individual from outside of Canada you will also require a PCC from your home country, an original copy of a work permit, a valid passport, and occassionally other supporting documents to provide clarity on your background.

Responsibilities
- Perform thorough, time efficient cleaning of assigned areas, ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness as per contractual obligations.
- Conduct commercial cleaning tasks, including but not limited to floor maintenance, restroom sanitation, and waste disposal.
- Respond promptly to work orders which will be delegated by the supervisor on duty once received from the client.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
