Join our client's dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Machine Operator and become a vital part of producing high-quality components with precision and efficiency! In this role, you will operate, monitor, and maintain CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and adherence to strict quality standards.
Shift: Monday to Friday Day Shift
Duties
- Set up and operate various CNC machines including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC machining centers, ensuring precise execution of manufacturing plans
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to program and adjust machine operations accordingly
- Perform routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other gauges to verify dimensional accuracy
- Maintain machine tools and tooling, including tooling changes, adjustments, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to ensure parts meet GD&T specifications and manufacturing standards
- Assist with materials handling, packaging finished products, and supporting assembly line operations as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment within a manufacturing or factory setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files confidently
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 standards
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers accurately for quality assurance purposes
- Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machine settings; understanding GD&T principles is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues quickly and effectively
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
