Role Overview:
We are looking for a Outside Sales Representatives, one for the Guelph office to drive business growth across a defined territory in Southern Ontario, including Hamilton, Oakville, Burlington, Niagara, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate has direct senior industry experience in commercial and industrial doors, loading dock systems, dock leveling equipment, and high-cycle/high-performance door applications, along with hands-on experience selling technical solutions to commercial and industrial clients, managing complex projects, handling bid-based opportunities, and selling maintenance/service contracts. This is a field-focused role with a strong emphasis on relationship building, territory development, and long-term customer partnerships.

Responsibilities:
- Own and expand a regional sales territory, identifying new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing accounts.
- Drive new project sales in commercial and industrial doors, operators, loading dock systems, dock leveling equipment, and high-cycle/high-performance door applications.
- Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, tenders, and project-based bids.
- Analyze project plans, technical drawings, and specifications to provide accurate quotes and solutions.
- Conduct on-site evaluations to assess operational needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of projects from sale to installation.
- Promote and sell maintenance and service contracts, establishing long-term service relationships.
- Maintain up-to-date sales records, forecasts, and project tracking in CRM systems.
- Keep current with market developments, product innovations, and industry standards.
- Serve as a trusted technical resource for clients, offering guidance and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of commercial B2B sales experience.
- Proven experience with project-based sales, tenders, and bid management.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, specifications, and project coordination.
- Experience managing key accounts and growing a territory.
- Experience selling maintenance/service contracts is considered a strong asset.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Post-secondary education.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license (Class G) and clean driving record; must be bondable.
