Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Worker to join our team and maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring that all areas meet health and safety standards through effective cleaning and sanitation practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial work or commercial cleaning, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of all designated areas, including floors, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and pressure washers safely and efficiently
- Dispose of waste materials in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and cleaning agents as needed
- Follow established safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain cleanliness of cleaning tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Qualifications
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable work ethic with a commitment to punctuality and professionalism

Pay: $20.00-$24.80 per hour
