The Position
The Human Resources Analyst provides administrative and coordination support to the Human Resources Team. Reporting to the Director, People & Culture this role supports the efficient and effective delivery of core HR services, including recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee records management, policy administration, and employee engagement initiatives.
The Human Resources Analyst helps to ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day HR activities while maintaining standards of accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality. Key Duties and Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding Support
- Post job opportunities on internal and external job boards and assist in maintaining applicant tracking systems.
- Coordinate interviews, including scheduling, communicating with candidates, and preparing interview materials.
- Support pre-employment processes such as reference checks, credential verification, and background screening.
- Assist with onboarding tasks, including preparing welcome packages, coordinating orientation schedules, setting up system access, and tracking new hire documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment and onboarding activities to ensure compliance and smooth processes.
HR Administration & Records Management
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling, document preparation, and meeting coordination.
- Prepare, maintain, and update employee files in compliance with records management standards and privacy legislation.
- Draft and format a variety of HR documents, such as offer letters, general correspondence, and internal communications.
Total Rewards & Program Support
- Assist with benefits administration tasks, including employee enrollments, updates, and responding to general inquiries.
- Support the coordination of various HR initiatives, including wellness, engagement and recognition programs.
- Provide support for organizing training and tracking completion status.
Policy, Compliance & Internal Communications
- Help maintain and distribute up-to-date HR policies, ensuring they are accessible and clearly communicated to staff.
- Support the preparation and distribution of internal HR communications, such as announcements, onboarding messages, and policy updates.
- Provide administrative support for HR-led projects and internal change initiatives
Qualifications and Technical Competencies
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- In the process of obtaining a CPHR designation would be an asset.
- 1–2 years of experience in an HR support role or environment.
- Understanding of basic HR practices and employment legislation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of discretion, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
