We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist Operators to join our team in Calgary
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathe and milling machines according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings to determine machining requirements
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machining equipment to minimize downtime
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure parts meet quality standards to finalize inspections
- Adjust machine settings based on measurements and inspection results for continuous improvement
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety protocols
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying opportunities for process improvements to meet production schedules and quality standards
Qualifications
- Proven +3 Years experience operating CNC machinery, including CNC lathe and CNC milling machines
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with machining tools such as calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while adhering to safety guidelines
- Proficiency with 2-axis and multi-axis CNC milling machines
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality standards
- Must have college or university related CNC Machine courses
- Physically capable of lifting 20–40 lbs as required
- Must be currently resident in Calgary
Pay: $17.92-$36.00 per hour
