Service Manager
Carrier Truck Centers require an experienced, motivated and knowledgeable career minded, Service Manager for our Windsor, Ontario dealership. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives to exceed strategic corporate goals by meeting shop metrics within the Windsor Dealership. To be successful the Service Manager must collaborate with all cross functional teams to build highly productive relationships to create new business development opportunities that will benefit the organization.

What’s a day like as a Service Manager?
- Responsible for the daily operation of the department through effective execution of maintenance initiatives to attain or exceed specified financial targets.
- Accountable for service payroll, purchase approval, service process and invoicing metrics
- Responsible for the Performance Management of all branch service staff including mentoring individuals as well as progressive discipline when deemed necessary.
- Ensure the successful development and execution of the Technical Training Plan.
- Conduct daily pre shift and monthly employee meetings in order to review goals, safety, operating metrics, customer feedback, and to relay corporate communication designed to drive continuous improvement.
Partners with business leaders to take the necessary steps to exceed customer expectations and effectively resolve all customer issues and concerns in a timely manner.
Ensure the maintenance of the equipment, facility and grounds meet corporate standards.
Complies with all Carrier Truck Centers’ policies and procedures including Health and Safety Policies and Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Who is our ideal candidate?
- 3-5 years of prior Foreman or Management experience required.
- Mechanical knowledge - 310 Truck and Coach License required
- Experience within a dealership would be considered an asset.
- Has a proven ability to profitably grow a business.
- Is comfortable providing excellent customer service while demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must have strong organizational skills, a high attention to detail and the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment.
- Is an individual who is results driven, self-motivated, independent and a team player with a strong sense of urgency.
- Has a class G drivers license and clean drivers abstract.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00-$104,000.00 per year
