About the Role
As SortedQ’s Social Media Growth Specialist, you will own the social media and website growth engine behind our early launch.
You will manage our presence across Instagram, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn, create daily travel content, grow our audience, support our signup and deals pages, track analytics, and help turn travel interest into measurable growth.
This role connects content, community, affiliate campaigns, website conversion, email marketing, and partner outreach. You will help us understand what travelers care about, what content drives action, and how SortedQ can build trust before launch.
In This Role, You Will:
Own and manage SortedQ’s Instagram, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn accounts by posting daily, maintaining a cohesive brand voice, and growing each channel through consistent engagement.
Create daily travel content, including flight deals, hotel deals, car rental offers, events, live events, travel tips, travel hacks, destination content, and SortedQ brand stories.
Ideate, create, and edit short-form video and visual content using research, performance data, internal high-performing content, and AI tools.
Monitor social media trends, travel trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to guide content creation and campaign strategy.
Track performance metrics across social media, website activity, signup forms, email campaigns, and affiliate campaigns.
Deliver regular analytics reports to the team showing what is working, what users are responding to, and where we should focus next.
Develop customer profiles based on traveler interests, engagement, feedback, signup behavior, and content performance.
Support website conversion by helping improve SortedQ’s signup pages, deals pages, feedback forms, and campaign landing pages.
Help grow the SortedQ waitlist by creating content and campaigns that turn travel interest into signups.
Contribute to email funnel strategy and execution, including campaign ideas, email copy, sequences, and conversion tracking.
Support the Sorted Daily / Social Drops deals strategy by creating content around flights, hotels, cars, events, live events, discounts, and travel opportunities.
Coordinate affiliate partner campaigns, develop campaign ideas, support pitch materials, and help turn performance insights into partner value.
Support B2B partner outreach through content, messaging, campaign insights, and collaboration with the founder.
Create engaging paid and organic ad content for social media and website campaigns.
Use tools such as HubSpot, Notion, social media management platforms, email marketing tools, analytics tools, Microsoft/Google Suite, and AI creative tools.
Experience and Qualifications
1–3+ years of experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, growth marketing, or brand marketing.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business, analytics, or a related field preferred.
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
Experience creating, editing, and publishing short-form video content.
Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills.
Ability to create content for both organic social media and paid ads.
Experience with HubSpot, Notion, social media management tools, email marketing platforms, and analytics dashboards.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn performance data into better content and growth decisions.
Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities in a fast-moving startup environment.
Strong research skills and ability to stay updated on travel trends, social media trends, competitors, and customer behavior.
Familiarity with SEO best practices is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft/Google Suite, including PowerPoint or Google Slides.
Self-motivated, organized, curious, and comfortable building without a perfect roadmap.
Bonus Points If You Have:
Travel affiliate or travel deals marketing experience.
Experience with influencer or creator partnerships.
Background in services marketing, B2B marketing, or startup marketing.
Experience creating content that drives signups, clicks, affiliate sales, or measurable conversions.
A genuine love for travel — and the ability to make other people feel that excitement through content.
Compensation
Compensation will be discussed upon hire and structured based on experience, role scope, and level of involvement.
