Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapist to join our private practice as an associate. The therapist MUST be registered with the CRPO or CPBAO already. In this role you will build a caseload at our practice, providing EMDR and other treatment modalities to adult clients both in person and virtually.
Duties
- Conduct EMDR therapy sessions with clients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate EMDR alongside other therapeutic modalities as needed.
- Maintain precise, accurate, and timely clinical notes, treatment plans, and incident records in strict accordance with CRPO or CPBAO Professional Practice Standards for Record-Keeping and PHIPA confidentiality regulations.
- Stay current with the latest research in trauma therapy, pediatrics, and mental health practices to enhance service quality.
Qualifications
- Registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO).
- Completion of an EMDRIA-approved EMDR Basic Training (or equivalent recognized EMDR training); EMDR Certification is considered an asset.
- Experience providing evidence-based psychotherapy to adults.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and participate in consultation and supervision.
- Ability to provide both in-person services at our Toronto office and virtual therapy across Ontario.

Associate Pay Structure
CITC offers a competitive percentage-based compensation model for associates. Associates are paid a percentage of the session fee their clients are charged.

Pay: $123.75 per hour
