What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities):
- The Fresh Mexican Grill: Hand-craft high-quality burritos, tacos, bowls, and quesadillas quickly and accurately according to brand standards.
- Prep Work: Assist with dicing fresh vegetables, preparing protein options, mixing signature sauces, and replenishing the hot and cold service lines.
- Guest Service: Greet local Drayton Valley guests warmly, answer questions about the menu, and handle transactions smoothly on the POS (Point of Sale) system.
- Keep it Clean: Maintain strict sanitation standards across the food line, kitchen, dining room, and dishwashing stations to ensure top-tier food safety.
- Team Player: Collaborate with your coworkers to manage busy lunch and dinner rushes efficiently.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements):
- A friendly, high-energy attitude with a passion for good food and great customer service.
- Flexible Availability: Ability to work a mix of shifts, including daytimes, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous restaurant, quick-service food, or retail cashier experience is a strong asset, but not required—we will train the right personality!
- An Alberta Food Safety Certificate is preferred (or a willingness to obtain one upon hire).
