Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment, assembling components, and ensuring quality standards are met. Candidates should have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with hand and power tools, and familiarity with warehouse or manufacturing settings.
Responsibilities
- Operate various manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently to meet production targets
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery to identify issues and perform basic troubleshooting
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to ensure safety compliance
- Follow safety protocols and quality standards throughout all production processes
- Assist in setup, changeovers, and adjustments of equipment to optimize production flow
- Document production activities accurately and report any discrepancies or malfunctions
Skills
- Proven experience in manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environments
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery
- Experience with forklift operation preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of safety procedures in industrial settings
- Ability to read work instructions is a plus
- Good problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $18.00-$18.50 per hour
