Tractorland Kubota is a family owned and operated Kubota dealership with three locations in Alberta & Saskatchewan. Since 2007, Tractorland has grown from a staff of under ten to over seventy today. Tractorland proudly represents Kubota in its full line of equipment including lawn & turf, construction and agriculture equipment as well as industrial engines and generators.
We are looking for a Mobile Heavy-Duty Tech (3rd or 4th year) to join our team.
Qualifications
- Licensed Heavy Duty Technician (3rd and 4th years)
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of heavy duty and/or agricultural equipment
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task to ensure repairs are completed within the required time frame.
- Proficient customer service skills with a strong work ethic to produce quality work in a timely manner to meet the needs of our customers
- Basic knowledge with required computers systems, e.g., Microsoft Office and CDK an asset
- Ability to meet all safety requirements and follow safety policies
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- First-Aid certification an asset
- Welding and fabrication experience an asset
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting of approximately 75lbs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performing quality repairs & preventative maintenance services on Kubota and Non-Kubota equipment
- Performing fault diagnosis and troubleshooting for mechanical & electrical failures
- Comply with warranty procedures during repairs and warranty materials on completion of repairs
- Submit accurate service reports and technical documents promptly.
- Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas following company policy.
- Provide support in shop repairs and other assigned duties.
