Job Description:
Houseman/Shuttle Driver
Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driver's abstract . Must have a G license for minimum 7 years
Drive guests to and from the Ottawa airport .
Hours are Monday to Friday 2pm-pm-10:30pm( not flexible )
Assist guest with luggage , delivery of items to and from rooms, Assist with bellman duties when required.
Must be able to lift 25-30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Have full knowledge of the amenities of the hotel and the surrounding area
Clean all public areas inside and out , including outside walkways, and interior
Sweep , mop , vacuum all public areas.
Clean up all garbage in the parking lots, including cigarette butts.
Empty all garbage bins
Test pool and hot tub ( training provided)
Snow shovel walkways , and salt or sand in the winter months
Set up and tear down meeting rooms
Shovel snow from walkways/ salt walkways when required
Replenish supplies in guest rooms, and housekeeping storage rooms and cabinets daily
Perform Laundry Duties when required.
Transport Laundry to and from housekeeping
Trouble shoot small maintenance issues ( lights burned out, internet not working, cleaning PTAC units, painting, ect.)
Requirements:
Previous hotel experience an asset
Working outdoor is required , Driving in inclement weather is required
Clean Criminal background check required.
This position requires a friendly, helpful individual to access the needs of our guests at all times.
Proven ability to be efficient, organized, detailed, and be able to work under pressure.

Have good command of the English language
Great at multi-tasking
Strong customer service skills

Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
